This website consists of a landing page, a thank-you page with a birth-data form that you reach after your purchase, and legal pages. There is no newsletter, contact form, user account, quiz or comment function.
Your rights as a data subject
You can exercise the following rights at any time using the privacy contact above:
- Access to the data we hold about you and how it is processed (Art. 15 GDPR),
- Rectification of inaccurate personal data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- Erasure of your data stored with us (Art. 17 GDPR),

Information collected when you visit our website
Nature and purpose of the processing
When you visit our website without registering or otherwise submitting information, general information is collected automatically. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, your IP address and similar technical data.
It is processed in particular for the following purposes:
- Ensuring that the connection to the website can be established without problems,
- Ensuring that the website can be used smoothly,
- Evaluating system security and stability, and
- Optimising our website.
We do not use this data to draw conclusions about you personally.
Legal basis and legitimate interest
The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.
Recipients
Recipients of the data may be technical service providers who act as processors for the operation and maintenance of our website, in particular our server provider Hostinger International Ltd. (data center in Frankfurt am Main).
Retention period
Server log files are kept for 14 days at most and are then deleted.
Whether provision is required
You are not required by law or by contract to provide this data. Without your IP address, however, the service and the functioning of our website cannot be ensured, and individual services may be unavailable or limited. For this reason, an objection is not possible for this processing.
Cookies and campaign tag
This website does not set any cookies.
The landing page stores a short campaign tag in your browser's session storage for the length of your visit. The tag shows where you came from, for example from an ad. We add it to the purchase link so that purchases can be attributed to the right source. The tag is deleted when you end your browser session and is not shared with third parties.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in understanding which of our channels lead to purchases.
Reach measurement (Plausible Analytics)
To evaluate how the website is used, we use Plausible Analytics, which we host ourselves on our own server infrastructure in Germany. Plausible works without cookies and without recognising you across devices. No cookies are set, no personal profiles are created and no data is passed on to third parties. Only aggregate figures are collected, for example page views, referrer and approximate country of origin.
Legal basis
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in an aggregate, privacy-friendly measurement of reach.
No advertising or tracking technologies
At the moment we do not use any advertising, tracking or remarketing services on this website. In particular, we do not use Google Analytics, advertising or tracking pixels, or remarketing. Because no cookies are set, there is no cookie banner.
Visits from ads on Facebook or Instagram
If you reach our website from an ad on Facebook or Instagram, Meta processes data about you under its own privacy policy. We do not receive any personal data from Meta. We only receive the campaign parameters contained in the link and aggregate statistics.
Paid services and orders
Nature and purpose of the processing
Payments and orders are handled by Digistore24 GmbH, Germany. From Digistore24 we receive your name, email address and order number so that we can fulfil your order.
Legal basis
The processing of the data that is necessary to conclude and perform the contract is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Recipients
Digistore24 GmbH, Germany, for payment and order handling.
Retention period
We keep this data in our systems until the statutory retention periods have expired. These are generally 6 or 10 years, for reasons of proper bookkeeping and tax law requirements.
Whether provision is required
Providing your personal data is voluntary. Without it, we cannot provide you with the content and services we offer.
Phoenix Report (birth data)
Nature and purpose of the processing
After you buy the Phoenix Report, you enter the following in a form: your name, email address, birth date, birth time and birthplace. If you choose the place from the list in the form, we also use the coordinates of that place to calculate the ascendant and houses. Your order number is added to this.
We use this information only to calculate your chart and birth sky, to translate the report, and to email you the PDF files. We do not use it for advertising.
In the form you can voluntarily tick a box so that we store your birth data permanently. We then use the stored data only to create further analyses for you at your request without a new form. We do not use it for advertising in this case either.
The calculation of your chart runs on our own server in Germany (Frankfurt am Main). For the English translation of the finished report, see the section "English translation of the report" below. The place list comes from GeoNames (geonames.org, CC BY 4.0) and is part of our site. Typing in the place field does not send anything to GeoNames.
When you submit the form, we use your IP address only briefly in memory to limit too many requests in a short time. It is not stored for this purpose.
Legal basis
The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, for the performance of the contract for the Phoenix Report.
For the permanent storage you choose by ticking the box in the form, the legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future by email to datenschutz@dotrockets.com. We will then delete your data without delay.
Recipients
- Digistore24 GmbH, Germany: payment and order handling. We receive your name, email address and order number from Digistore24.
- Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as processor for sending the email with the PDF attachments. The mail servers are located in the EU (Ireland). For transfers to the USA, the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission apply.
- Hostinger International Ltd. as server provider (data center in Frankfurt am Main).
- Anthropic PBC, USA, as processor for the translation of the report into English (see the next section).
Retention period
We automatically delete your birth data, your email address and the generated PDF files from our server 90 days after the calculation. This data is not included in the server backups.
If you ticked the box for permanent storage, we keep your details from the form (name, email address, birth date, birth time, birthplace) and your order number until you withdraw your consent. Even then, we delete the generated PDF files after 90 days. This data is not included in the server backups either. At our email service provider, the sent email is kept only for its short technical retention period.
At your request, we will delete your details earlier: datenschutz@dotrockets.com. Order and invoice data are subject to the statutory retention periods (see the section "Paid services and orders").
Whether provision is required
Providing your birth data is voluntary. Without it, we cannot calculate your report. The more exact the birth time, the more reliable the result, and the ascendant and houses are only possible with an exact time. The box for permanent storage is also voluntary. Without ticking it, you receive your report in the same way.
English translation of the report (AI, Anthropic)
Nature and purpose of the processing
Your report is calculated and written in German on our own server. To provide it in English, it is then translated with the help of AI through the API of Anthropic (Anthropic PBC, USA), which acts as our processor.
Before the text is sent, we replace your name, birthplace, birth date and birth time with placeholders. We put them back after the translation. These details are therefore not sent to the translation provider. The report text itself (the descriptions of your chart) is sent.
Legal basis
Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, as the translation is part of delivering the English report you ordered.
Recipients and transfers to the USA
Anthropic PBC, USA, as processor. Where required, transfers to the USA are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention period
On our server, the translated report is deleted together with the other PDF files 90 days after the calculation (see the section "Phoenix Report (birth data)").
Whether provision is required
The translation is a necessary step to provide the report in English. Without it, we cannot deliver the English version.
SSL/TLS encryption
To protect your data during transmission, we use encryption methods that meet the current state of the art (SSL/TLS) via HTTPS.
Information about your right to object under Art. 21 GDPR
Right to object in individual cases
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you that is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (processing based on a balance of interests). This also applies to profiling based on that provision within the meaning of Art. 4(4) GDPR.
If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy so that it always meets current legal requirements, or to reflect changes to our services, for example when new services are introduced. The new privacy policy then applies to your next visit.
Questions about privacy
If you have questions about data protection, please send us an email at datenschutz@dotrockets.com.
